This beautiful John Perry Burlwood & Pellucida Dolphin sculpture is lovely. In 1973, John Perry opened " John Perry Studio" with the idea that sculpture need not necessarily be cast in bronze or carved out of marble. He knew then that there were more price conscious and accessible ways to make inspiring sculpted art. Mounted on their polished burlwood base, They are molded in Pellucida, their proprietary resin compound that resembles Bisque porcelain but is more durable. This piece is in good pre-owned condition. It was purchased at an estate auction in Arkansas 2023. This piece measures approximately 8"L x 5 3/4" W x 6" H. Weight pre packaging 1 lb 8 oz.
