Description

This is a beautiful and heavy glass sculpture of a dolphin. The glass is clear with a peach or light pink hue depending on the angle and what light is hitting the sculpture. It is smooth glass with some air bubbles trapped inside. 10 in tall and weighing almost 7 pounds! The dolphin sculpture is unmarked but from the research I've done I believe it comes from the renowned Formia Vetri Di Murano product line. I have found several similar pieces on eBay described as such. But since it is unmarked, I am not guaranteeing the maker, please see photographs and decide on your own. I have found no chips or cracks in this piece, but there are some light scratches here and there, They are certainly not easy to see and are not evident when on display. I just like to be very detailed in descriptions. I've taken a number of close-up photographs including pictures with measurements. It is a vintage piece from the late 20th century, most likely from the 1980s. It would make a great gift for any dolphin or art glass enthusiast.
