Lovely handcarved miniature freshwater dolphin sculpture, handmade in Amazonas, Colombia by Alirio Liberato. Beautiful and delicate; the dolphin stands on his tail, as they sometimes playfully do! Perfectly scaled dollhouse sculpture. Alirio was recently awarded the Medalla de Arte Tradicional by the Colombian government; he was selected as winner out of 900 applicants. We are very lucky to be working with him! Made of rich red bloodwood, palo sangre, tropical hardwood. Please note this listing is for the wood sculpture only.
