A lovely Italian sculpted terracotta figure of a putti riding a dolphin (commonly referred to as a sea monster), second half of the 18th century. Wonderful piece to add flair to any room! It is in good condition overall with a beautiful aged patina. Sculpture has general wear, surface blemishes, patina/toning, arm repaired, small scattered losses, abrasions, etc….typical of early ceramics. Please see all photos for condition.
